TV Global Enterprises prepares new company facilities as expansion continues

TV Global Enterprises, the company behind leading Latin America gaming operator Betcris, continues to see its footprint expand. With the growth comes the need to provide more operational facilities, and the company just began construction of its new office spaces specifically for Betcris, which will give it better abilities to meet the demands of its numerous activities.

The new offices are located in Escazu, Costa Rica and encompass several floors of one of the most prestigious buildings in the area. The facilities are designed to allow for the 120 employees located in the country, and were designed by internationally renowned architecture and design firm Gensler. TV Global Enterprises began construction of the offices on December 13 and they will be complete by the end of this March.

Knowing that people spend more time at work than they do at home, TV Global Enterprises CEO JD Duarte wanted to ensure that employees had a comfortable, stress-free work environment. Top-quality furniture and work stations are being brought in, and a new lounge area is being created where employees can relax and escape the hassles of the daily grind.

The facilities will also include a video conference room and onsite medical assistance. There are a state-of-the-art IT operations and server room, a customer service center, and offices for fraud detection and payout processing, as well. Co-located on the property are the accounting, legal and business development operations to ensure that the different segments of the company’s operations can cohesively work on cross-departmental projects efficiently.

A lot of planning and organization went into the design and layout of the offices, and employees were invited to provide feedback and suggestions on what should be included. Solar panels are being added to reduce the company’s carbon footprint, and wheelchair safety zones are being added. There will also be a private nursing room for new mothers and the second-floor cafeteria, with a fully-equipped kitchen, can be converted into a room for special events, complete with comfortable stadium seating.

To help celebrate the milestone, Duarte and staff members joined together for the groundbreaking last month. A tour was provided to everyone in order to allow them to see what is coming and the employees were asked by Duarte to participate in a special activity that helped them cement their views of the new project. On the fresh concrete walls that were being constructed, they were invited to leave their mark and indicate what the new offices meant to them. From new opportunities to major expansion, the employees all indicated that the offices are a great example of what Betcris has accomplished and where it is heading.
